Description: Total PC Defender is a rogue anti-spyware application. It is a clone of such rogue malware applications as Control Center, Antivirus System Pro, System Guard 2009 and Spyware Protect 2009. Total PC Defender is usually either secretly installed onto your computer by a trojan such as Vundo trojan or intentionally downloaded by the user (thinking it is some helpful program). Once installed, Total PC Defender basically takes over that PC and prohibits the opening of most programs and applications. Total PC Defender tries to scare the user into purchasing the "full" version of the fake program.
