Description: SpyAxe (Spy Axe) is a ransomware anti-spyware product that is secretly installed by the Zlob Trojan. Other trojans are also known to install SpyAxe. SpyAxe - or the trojan that installs it - starts generating warning messages (similar to the ones shown below) to try and force users into purchasing the full version of SpyAxe in order to have the alledged infections removed.

Once installed, SpyAxe generates messages similar to the ones shown below:

Usually it changes your home page and redirects it to some unknown site or modifies your search settings. It prevents you from changing back your browser's settings. An infected browser usually operates much slower.
