Description: PC Security 2009 is a rogue anti-spyware application. Usually, it is secretly installed into your computer by a trojan. Once installed, PC Security 2009 "scans" system and displays exaggerated results. It displays annoying pop-up windows and system alerts stating that computer is infected or under attack. PC Security 2009 tries to scare the user and push it into purchasing of "full" version.

PC Security 2009 replaces Windows Security Center with own fake Security Center, which promotes PC Security 2009. So you may see two Security Center icons at your Windows tray.

Also, PC Security 2009 hijacks Internet Explorer and redirects URLs to various malware sites.
