Description: DNS Hijacker-85.255 is a trojan that alters the DNS servers on your computer to point to servers that are affiliated with the trojan creators, hence re-directing you to any site the they want. At its worst, this tactic can be used to trick you into thinking you have arrived at your banking website when in fact you are at a fake website that looks just like your bank's website. At its mildest, it can redirect your search results to various websites. For example, by adding google.com to their DNS server, they can make it so that when you run a search on google.com, they redirect your searches to any site(s) of their choice.
